Hitech would like to inform our customers that the health and well-being of our Staff, Customers and Suppliers is our top priority. It is a challenging time for many of our staff, customers and suppliers and the community as a whole.

With the recent, and the ever-changing developments in the impact of COVID-19 across our community, we are following the advice of Federal and State Government to minimise contact from person to person and are following strict hygiene practices.

Hitech is trading business as usual and currently operating under standard business hours. Any changes to this we will update our customers ASAP.

We are implementing the following practices as outlined by the

MOTOR TRADERS’ASSOCATION OF NSW in which we are members

• Disinfect Vehicles
• Use of disinfectant spray
• Disinfect the outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle
• Wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle with disinfectant.
• When work is completed vehicle is given a final disinfectant wipe prior to returning the vehicle to the client.
• We will be disinfecting the following
  • door handle – outside and inside
  • steering wheel
  • radio and other control buttons and indictors
  • seat belt

Any other areas that may need to be touched when working inside the vehicle.

Where disinfectant can not be used on the vehicle our staff will use hand sanitiser and or gloves.

The utmost care will be used when following these safe practices of disinfecting the vehicle.

Our staff are following the guidelines listed below

• Do not touch your face with or without gloves
• Cover your mouth using the inside of your elbow if you cough or sneeze.
• Once work is concluded, exit the vehicle and close the door.
• Wash hands thoroughly and regularly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, use paper touch to dry hands and dispose of paper towel in bin.
• Where possible avoid switching on the air conditioning/heater system inside vehicles.
• Practice safe social distancing whilst at work and away from the workplace.
